OLD CARPENTERSVILLE - Philip W. "Phil" Losey, age 58, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago. Phil was born in Chicago on January 21, 1959 and was the son of the late Robert W. and Andrea L. (nee Gerardin) Losey. Phil was raised in Des Plaines and has been a resident of Carpentersville for the past 16 years. For 41 years, he was a loyal and valued employee of O'Hare Metal Products where he worked as a laser technician. Survivors include his children; Stephanie A. and Matthew J. Losey, his significant other and longtime companion; Shelly Durnil and his stepson; Shane Clements. Other survivors include his sister; Sharon (Paul) Sclafani, his brother; Steve (Peg) Losey, a nephew, 3 nieces, 3 grandnephews, 4 grandnieces as well as many good and faithful friends. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-9 P.M. at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee.
