HERBERT ALBERT KRUPPA Age 59, passed away at his home in Yucaipa, California on January 21, 2019. After a long, painful battle with failing health and liver cancer, Herb, an adoring husband, proud father of his boys Byron and Blake, passed as he wished; quietly at home, Susan caring for Herb until his final breath. Herb was born on January 23, 1959. He grew up in Des Plaines, Illinois, moved to California, took a roadtrip on his Harley that brought his wandering to an end arriving in Northern CA and attending Weimar College where he met Susan Claridge. They were married on June 10, 1984. Herb attended Loma Linda University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy in October of 1988. His career focus later turned to investing in real estate. Herb is survived by his wife Susan Kruppa, sons Byron and Blake Kruppa and numerous extended family and friends. Herb will be dearly missed. May he Rest in Peace. The Kruppa Family would like to extend their gratitude to the many family and friends as well as to the Kaiser Hospice staff who so kindly attended to Herb during his final days.

I grew up in the same neighborhood as Herb and knew him generally from grammar school through HS. We reconnected on Facebook only within the past few years. Herb was a gentle giant who never mentioned his illness. Although I never knew Herb’s family, he always spoke gratefully and lovingly of his wife Susan and his boys. I’m so very sad to learn of his passing. I will miss our conversations about politics and family. Sending condolences to Susan and his boys. Godspeed Herb!
