Lawrence “Larry” Germann, age 64 of Two Rivers passed away on Tuesday September 19, 2023 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center, Green Bay.
Larry was born on June 19, 1959 in Chicago, son of Charles “Chuck” Germann and late Shirley (Johnson) Germann. He was a faithful Christian man who loved to attend church at St. Peter the Fisherman. Larry was in the Nuclear industry for 35 years. He worked at the Zion Illinois nuclear plant, the San Onofre Nuclear plant in California and retired from the Point Beach Nuclear plant.
Larry loved to spend time with his family, friends and neighbors. He enjoyed fishing, boating, kayaking, riding his bike and walking along the beach. Larry was an avid fan of all things sports especially the Chicago Bears and Cubs. He especially loved classic rock and all Jimmy Buffet songs, riding his motorcycle, and was a collector of wooden sculptures. Larry loved to travel, especially to anywhere that was on the water, Lake Tahoe was amongst his favorite places. He loved to be with people and was always the center of attention telling one story after another. His family and friends all love and miss him everyday and will keep him alive in their hearts until they meet again.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years: Debi (Robertson) Germann; father: Charles “Chuck” Germann; in laws: Barbara (TJ) Holtgrieve; Dianne Robertson; sisters: Pat Mele; Joan Woodall; Linda (Russell) Ringstrand; brothers & sisters in law: Ringo (Kelly) Robertson; John (Lynne) Robertson; Susie (Mike) Stone; Dean (Wendy) Robertson; nephews & nieces: Danyelle (Todd) Guy; Brian Nelson; Joey Woodall; Jake (Abi) Ringstrand; Steve Ringstrand; Kaylee Ringstrand; Tom Just; Haley Robertson; Connor Robertson; Derrick Just and Nick Just; as well as other relatives and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Germann, father in law Patrick Robertson, brothers in laws Bob Mele and Joe Woodall.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday September 29, 2023 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Parish (3201 Mishicot Road), Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Dave Pleier. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday September 29, 2023 from 10:00am until the time of services at 11:00am.
