John Ambrose Patrick Duffin

Andy, I too, was of the same burnout crowd and I do remember you, although you probably do not remember me, either.  I was pretty low key.   But I did see John occasionally, and always at the reunions, and several times at the Beacon when Chris and Dave would arrange a get together.  Knowing John was sick, I made every effort to see him whenever the occasion arose. He knew how much I cared about him, the feeling was mutual.  We had like this weird long term spiritual relationship, for lack of a better explanation, since we met in 6th grade.  Everytime we saw each other, it was like we just saw each other the day before.  I hope that my time spent with him means more to him then anything that I could write here, but since you were calling out to people, I felt the need to write this.   John was one of my first big crushes, and party buddy in high school.  He'll never be forgotten, and will always hold a very very special place in my heart.
