Ellen attended Maine West during our sophomore year. 

Ellen Ann (O'Brien) Panegasser left us too soon January 30, 2022. Daughter to James and Marilyn O'Brien, sister to Kevin, Marty (Julie), Tim, Steve, Peggy (Steve) and Ann (Brian). Aunt to Maggie, Jamie (Hudson), Will, Sean, Dempsey (Kelsey), Nicole, Juli and Dani. An exceptionally kind, caring and loving mother to Rob, Randi, James, Mark, Jennifer and Katie. Proud "Grandma Peepers" of Gabby, Rocco, Lilly, "Grama Ellen" of Austin, Jackson, Janessa, Chance, Aubree and Bella and to her "grand kitties" Shane, Mama, Mighty, Yeti, Elvis & Whalen. She was an avid reader and conversationalist, enjoyed everything timeless including residential architecture, interior design, gardening, and antiques as shown by her many successful restorations throughout her life. She was truly an altruistic and non-materialistic person who always gave when someone needed. She loved all of her friends and family unconditionally and cherished all of the time spent together with everyone. Her hugs, tears of joy and trial, encouraging words, sarcastic humor and glowing personality will be missed but not forgotten by us all. Private memorial to be held at her favorite place as per her life-long wishes. In lieu of flowers or donations, please help her kindness and love live on by taking the time to call someone you have lost touch with to reconnect.
