It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Thomas Testo announces his passing on Thursday, March 17th, 2022 at the age of 62 years old.  He was greatly loved by his wife, children, extended family and friends.

Born April 20, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, to Alfred and Lucille (Menotti) Testo.  Rob grew up in Des Plaines, Illinois and graduated high school from Maine West.  After high school, he began his career at Allstate and later moved into sales roles in the Electronic Components industry.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business from Roosevelt University.  On August 14, 1992, he married his beloved wife Laura (Burns) Testo.

Rob and Laura welcomed their first son, Sam, into the world in 1997 and later their second son, Ben, in 2001.  Rob is survived by his sons, Sam and Ben Testo; his brother Ralph (Donna) Testo; his niece Dawn (John) Hichew; his nephew Todd (Teri) Testo. Uncle Rob will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his great nieces and nephews:  Alyssa (Brandon) Conkle, Steven, Amanda, Jack, Kelly, and Mia and Laura’s nieces and nephews; Steve, Teresa, Gary, Erika, Bear, Larry-Wayne, Jeremy, Martine, Cassidy, Nacine, Chaz, Cha and Libby.  He also touched the lives of his mother-in-law Carol Burns and his sister-in-laws Cindy (David) Brady, Donna (James) Roland and Jennifer Henderson and his great-great nephew Lukas Conkle.

Rob’s childhood passion was going to the Arlington Racetrack and watching the horses run with his Father.  He continued that passion each year and almost every weekend until it closed this past year.  He was a diehard Cubs and Blackhawks fan but his love in life was family.  He adored his wife, two boys and his extended family and was the most unselfish, generous, caring and loving man anyone could wish for.

Rob was preceded in death by his parents Al and Lucille Testo and his Father-in-Law Don Burns.
