This is a hard one....I dated Catherine freshmen and sophmore year. After I lost my parents we went our saperate ways, but managed to stay in touch over the years. She was a wonderful lady, with a heart of gold. She made everyone around her feel comfortable...Unfortunately the last couple of years she was dealt with a bad deck of cards. With a failing liver and on the list for a transplant, her health became weak. With a weakened immune system she was a perfect canadate for the covid. Sunday night February 14th, I got a message from her husband saying Catherine had been taken to the ER and placed on a ventalator . Later that night Catherine passed. She leaves behind her husband John Roberts, daughter Meaghan, granddaughter Emma, daughter Hillary Roberts. Sister Heather McCune O'Rielly, and brother Andrew McCune.
I didn't know Catherine except for a smile in passing in the hallway at MW. This is just so sad. Condolences to her family and Catherine, R.I. ETERNAL P.
