After making contact with Jeffrey in March, 2018, he stated that while he was originally registered to attend our freshman year at Maine West, his family moved to Arizona prior to the first day of school. After his Military Service, he returned to Yuma, where he opened a martial arts school.

Jeffrey Scott Heinz, 59, of Yuma, died Nov. 23, 2018, in Star Valley, Ariz.

Born July 14, 1959, in Chicago, he was a business owner and veteran of the U.S. Navy for 20 plus years.

A memorial service will be 4:30 p.m. Friday at Stone Ridge Church, 6300 E. 24th St.

Sunset Vista Funeral Home, Cemetery & Crematory is handling arrangements, including private cremation.
