A memorial mass celebrating the life of Carrie Ann Dierks, formerly of Des Plaines and Evanston, will be held on Feb. 16, 2008, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St., Barrington, IL. Visitation at 11 a.m. with mass following at noon. She was born Jan. 1, 1960, in De Kalb, IL, and passed away Jan. 26, 2008 at her home in Decatur, GA. Her fine talent as a writer and exhibit developer for museums all over the United States has been respected and admired. She is survived by her parents, Diane and Charles Dierks; her brothers, James (Patricia), and Gregory (Michele); her sister, Joleen (Jon) Batek; her grandmother, Rose Klier; her nieces and nephews, Ian and Stephanie Dierks, Erik, Alissa, Joseph, and Sarah Dierks, and Kevin and Alan Batek; and her extended family.
