Beverly Konop (O'Connor)

I was good friends with Stella in HS! I've been trying to track her down for years and am saddened to hear that she left us so soon! Stella came from a large and close-knit Polish family! She asked me to be one of her Bridesmaids (I don't remember the exact year, but it would have been between '77 and '80)! I don't know how it fell on me (because I'm sure I wasn't the Maid of Honor), but somehow, I became in charge of finding matching dresses for around 8 young women; I remember that I had a very short amount of time, to find gowns that would look good on women, ranging from size 2 to 22! There was no internet back then, so I called every single bridal gown store within 100 miles of us, but none of them could help! Accidentally, I called (what turned out to be), an actual designer of gowns that didn't sell to the public (only to bridal houses)! I wish I could remember the title, but this designer had  designed all of the gowns for a fairly famous wedding movie that was made just prior to our dilemma! She felt sorry for me, and agreed to help! She said that I would have to "trust her on the style" and thanks to her kindness, Stella pulled off this huge elaborate wedding without a hitch! My condolences to Stella's family and children!
