Thomas M. Clancy, 18, of Des Plaines died early Monday morning, Oct. 17, 1977, in Resurrection Hospital, Chicago, from injuries sustained after being struck by two cars as he ran across the Northwest Tollway west of the Tri-State Tollway intersection in Des Plaines. He was a student and driver salesman for Lee Auto Parts in Des Plaines. Survivors include his parents, James F. and Evelyn (nee McMahon) Clancy; brother, James F. Clancy; and grandmothers Rose Clancy and Edna McMahon.
