Larry J. Christensen, 57, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born July 6, 1959, in Chicago, Ill., died Sunday, July 31, 2016, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Larry worked for the Casino Queen as a purchasing director for over 20 years. He was a huge Chicago Cubs fan, an avid bowler and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Christensen; his mother, Joan, nee Bleur, Christensen; his sister, Kathy Tuomala; his aunt, Peggy Harris; and his brother-in-law, Rory Hamilton.

Surviving are his wife, Kelly L., nee Hamilton, Christensen; his children, Jacki Montalbono of Oak Grove, Ill., Chad (Sarah) Garcia of Lebanon, Ill., Shannah (Eric) Reamer of Lebanon, Ill., and Cody Garcia (Laura Grant) of Belleville, Ill.; his grandchildren, Taylor Garcia, Tori Garcia, Delaney Reamer, Eli Garcia and Everly Reamer; his sisters-in-law, Robin (Kevin) Lanman of Fairview Heights, Ill., and Angela Messina of Fairview Heights, Ill.; his father-in-law, Ernie Hamilton of Fairview Heights, Ill.; his mother-in-law, Kitty (Hardy) Gogol of Hazelwood, Mo.; his cousin, Diane (Steve) Jenkins of Charleston, S.C.; and many dear nieces, nephews and friends.
