John Warren Baske, 57, died Feb. 22, 2017, from a motor cycle accident. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold W. and Phyllis Y. (nee Hester) Baske . . . A 57-year-old man died after a motorcycle crash Wednesday night in northwest suburban Hanover Park. John W. Baske was riding a motorcycle north on County Farm Road, then turned west on Lake Street, where the bike struck a curb and he was ejected about 6:30 p.m., according to Hanover Park police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Baske, of Des Plaines, was first taken to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, then airlifted to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where he died at 10:30 p.m., authorities said. An autopsy on Thursday found he died of multiple injuries from a motorcycle striking a fixed object.

Jonny B was a close friend he and I grew up on the same street on the same block on Van Buren. He attended Lutheran school but came to our Maine Waste school. Jonny B or JB or Hoss as we knew him was a man who liked the good times. I'll leave it there, I'll miss my Jonny as my kids will. However JB loved his girls and they will miss him more. I can't tell you how much his smile will be missed! Love you Johnny!
